Local Rights Program

Local Rights Program

FVA in partnership with Action Aid Rwanda is implementing the Local Rights Program (LRP) in Ruheru Nyaruguru. Through the program, FVA is conducting sponsorship and education activities, conducting child messaging and profile collections, follow up on children to ensure that their rights are promoted and safe guarded.

FVA also supports the formation of cooperatives for women small holder farmers, training them on cooperative management, promoting women’s rights and sustainable agriculture in order to empower women. We also work with communities to equip them with knowledge, information skills and tools to challenge the denial of rights through advocacy and campaigns.
